Details: The Muskie Club* with the support of IREX** invites you to join us in a discussion with a well-known journalist and documentary filmmaker, Mikhail Taratuta, the author and producer of such series as America with Mikhail Taratuta, Russian Rollercoasters, and many other popular documentaries. From 1988 to 2000 Mr. Taratuta worked in the United States. Most of you should remember his popular series on the life in the US broadcast on the main Soviet television channel. Since 2000 Taratuta has been working in Russia and among his recent documentaries is the movie Where Are We Heading? dedicated to changes in the life in Russia for the last 15 years. “It is worth looking at ourselves from a distance and then many things become more clear”, says the author that has kindly accepted to show us his latest documentary and engage in a discussion with the alumni of international programs.  

Important note: This event is free of charge due to the kind support provided by IREX. However the seating capacity is limited to 40 people max, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
