In July 2009, the Passport Magazine has published an interview with Rosemary Hilhorst, Director of British Council Russia. In this interview Ms. Hilhorst talks about British Council's new strategies, British Council library, cultural exchanges between Russia and UK, also putting an accent on the exchange study programs for Russian young people.

Here is an excerpt from this interview: "We also do a lot with young people, for example there is the Chevening scheme which helps send bright young Russians to the UK to study. There is Education UK, where we are promoting study in the UK, and other projects like the Young Creative Entrepreneurs which identifies creative young people [Russians] in the creative industries and giving them an experience in the UK".
