On June, 10th, 2009, REN-TV aired an interview with US Ambassador John Beyrle on politics, culture and Ambassador's literary preferences. Ambassador Beyrle was nominated by President George W. Bush on May 13, 2008, and sworn in as the US Ambassador to the Russian Federation on July 2, 2008.
