Among different crafts there is one that stands apart due to its complexity and historical value - pottery. Ceramic ware has been produced by people for centuries, and at the present time interest to this craft is resurging.

On June 15th several members of the Muskie Club were invited to participate in the pre-departure orientation for the 2010 Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship program finalists. Muskie program alumni of different years shared their experiences and valuable advice with those who are about to embark on an exciting academic and personal journey to the US.

Muskie Club members test their DrinkIQ with Diageo

On May 27th members of the Muskie Club and other alumni of international exchanges were invited to the office of Diageo - world leading premium drinks business - to participate in the interactive DrinkIQ program that describes the principles of responsible drinking.

On May 19 the Muskie Club hosted an orientation webinar for participants of the Muskie Club mentoring program.

US Embassy Moscow together with the "Cultural Initiative" project are inviting us to meet with a well-known writer Alexander Genis.

On April 20th Muskie Club hosted another Famous Talk event. This time our honored guest was Boris Nemtsov - former Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, leader of the "Souyz Pravyh Sil" (SPS) party, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod oblast, who currently is one of the leaders of a United Democratic Movement "Solidarity" (Solidarnost).
