On March 18^th alumni of international educational programs were invited to the Carnegie Center in Moscow to meet with the editor – in – chief of Pro et Contra journal Maria Lipman. This meeting was organized and moderated by the Muskie Club Board member Alexey Korlyakov.

On April 8th, 2010 Muskie Club members were honored to welcome a well-known Russian journalist and documentary filmmaker Mikhail Taratuta for a Famous Talk event.

On April 20th Muskie Club hosted another Famous Talk event. This time our honored guest was Boris Nemtsov - former Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, leader of the "Souyz Pravyh Sil" (SPS) party, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod oblast, who currently is one of the leaders of a United Democratic Movement "Solidarity" (Solidarnost).

On May 19 the Muskie Club hosted an orientation webinar for participants of the Muskie Club mentoring program.

Muskie Club members test their DrinkIQ with Diageo

On May 27th members of the Muskie Club and other alumni of international exchanges were invited to the office of Diageo - world leading premium drinks business - to participate in the interactive DrinkIQ program that describes the principles of responsible drinking.

The Chair of the Muskie Club Board Anastasia Ekkert has been nominated for participation in the Alumni Association Enrichment Workshop which will take place in France on June 20th - June 22nd.

On June 15th several members of the Muskie Club were invited to participate in the pre-departure orientation for the 2010 Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship program finalists. Muskie program alumni of different years shared their experiences and valuable advice with those who are about to embark on an exciting academic and personal journey to the US.

Among different crafts there is one that stands apart due to its complexity and historical value - pottery. Ceramic ware has been produced by people for centuries, and at the present time interest to this craft is resurging.
